As Black Womxn our history with extractive business has left wounding in our DNA making it challenging to show up visibly in our authenticity, power and leadership skills. In the public ownership of who we are. We have been programmed into contraction over expression. This is where we work on your nervous system reactivity to being SEEN. Around taking up space in your rightFULL reciprocal exchange. So you can be a leader. The soul representative of your expression/medicine in the world. So you can not only see yourself clearly... but others can SEE you as you truly are through your blossoming.

There is nothing more personal in the world than your body's natural system of reciprocal exchange. How it wants to sustain itself. How it wants to give and how it wants to receive. How it wants to hold and be held. This blossoming is the single most important journey of your life. I know because I have traversed it. There is no more important work on the planet for a human being than this work.
Business is personal.
Many often think of business as a solo adventure but that could not be further from the truth. In order to create a reciprocal exchange... two energies must come together. At its purest form business is a relationship between two entities. No different than a friendship or a marriage. Ethical business is consensual connection, attraction, eros, exchange and finally... CREATION.

We talk about healing all the time but we never truly talk about what we are healing. I believe we are healing the wounds our lineage suffered the day our bodies ancestors were stolen for free labor. The day we lost stewardship of our bodies and our gifts. The day we learned that it was not safe to be us outloud. The day we were told we must assimilate to serve other's dreams. Healing has always been and will always be about business.

I have studied the body and somatics for 15 years. I have a MFA from Yale School of Drama and an BFA from NYU where somatics is a core practice. Where the art of NS regulation around being SEEN is essential. And using the body and the voice as an exploratory tool over a delivery tool comes first. I have studied Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapy with The Embody Lab.
I am a certified Integrated Changeworker with the Ethical Coaching Collective which focuses on how to change the body and the brain. I am certified in the Unshaming Facillitator Process with David Bedrick by the Santa Fe Institute for Shame Based Studies
I have extensive knowledge of how the body, brain, NS work especially when it comes to trauma informed healing.
